The firm was established initially under the name of Che Mokhtar & Co. in August 1985 as a Bumiputra legal firm founded by Datuk Che Mokhtar bin Che Ali. Mr. Ling Thik Ping joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1992.


The firm is currently being managed by Datuk Che Mokhtar and Mr. Ling Thik Ping and assisted by an associate and eleven legal assistants. We have more than forty support staff (excluding lawyers), many of whom have had more than ten years experience. We are proud that our firm experiences a very low staff turnover and we have a comprehensive legal library which is updated and manned by a librarian.
